The editorial team of TSJARI plays a central role in maintaining the scholarly integrity, quality, and transparency of the journal’s publication process. Editors are responsible for overseeing the review process, upholding ethical publishing standards, and ensuring that published content aligns with the journal’s scope and mission.


Core Editorial Responsibilities

1. Manuscript Evaluation

  • Assess the quality, originality, and relevance of submitted manuscripts.

  • Assign manuscripts to qualified peer reviewers with appropriate expertise.

  • Ensure that the peer review process is fair, objective, and timely.

2. Editorial Decision-Making

  • Make well-informed decisions based on reviewer feedback, journal policies, and scholarly merit.

  • Communicate editorial decisions clearly and professionally to authors.

  • Uphold confidentiality and anonymity throughout the review process.

3. Upholding Ethical Standards

  • Enforce compliance with the TSMIJ Publication Ethics and COPE guidelines.

  • Identify and act upon any form of plagiarism, duplication, or unethical conduct.

  • Handle conflicts of interest with transparency and impartiality.

4. Promoting Academic Integrity

  • Encourage diversity, inclusion, and integrity in scholarly publishing.

  • Support the dissemination of knowledge that advances agricultural innovation and sustainability.

5. Editorial Development

  • Assist in the strategic development of the journal, including special issues and thematic calls for papers.

  • Provide feedback to improve editorial workflows and platform functionality.

  • Promote the journal within academic and professional networks.

6. Collaboration and Peer Engagement

  • Engage with reviewers to ensure high-quality evaluations.

  • Mentor early-career researchers and support peer reviewer development.


Recognition and Incentives

  • Editorial Members are acknowledged on the journal’s website.

  • Annual Certificate of Editorial Service is issued.

  • Opportunity to publish one article per volume without APC (Article Processing Charge).

  • Priority handling for personally submitted or co-authored manuscripts.
