Publication Ethics

Tech-Sphere Journal of Environmental and Earth Sciences (TSJEES)
A Subsidiary of Tech-Sphere Multidisciplinary International Journal (TSMIJ)

The Tech-Sphere Journal of Environmental and Earth Sciences (TSJEES) is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and integrity. We strictly adhere to ethical guidelines as outlined by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) to ensure transparency, accountability, and trust in the scientific publishing process.

Ethical Guidelines for All Parties

For Authors

  • Originality and Plagiarism: Authors must ensure that their work is original and appropriately cite or quote the work of others. All manuscripts are screened using Turnitin for plagiarism.

  • Data Integrity: Authors should present accurate data and acknowledge all sources. Data fabrication or falsification is strictly prohibited.

  • Authorship: Only individuals who made a significant contribution to the research and writing should be listed as authors. All co-authors must approve the final version of the manuscript.

  • Conflict of Interest: Authors must disclose any financial or personal relationships that may influence the research.

  • Simultaneous Submission: Submitting the same manuscript to more than one journal at the same time is considered unethical and is not allowed.

For Editors

  • Fair Decision-Making: Editors evaluate manuscripts based solely on academic merit and relevance to the journal’s scope, regardless of the authors' gender, ethnicity, religion, or affiliation.

  • Confidentiality: Editors must not disclose information about a manuscript to anyone other than the corresponding author, reviewers, and editorial staff.

  • Conflict of Interest: Editors must recuse themselves from handling manuscripts in which they have conflicts of interest.

For Reviewers

  • Confidentiality: Manuscripts received for review must be treated as confidential documents.

  • Objectivity: Reviews should be conducted objectively, with clear, constructive, and unbiased feedback.

  • Conflict of Interest: Reviewers must decline to review if they have any competing interests or relationships with the authors or research institutions involved.

Handling of Misconduct

TSJEES takes all forms of publication misconduct seriously. In cases of suspected ethical violations (e.g., plagiarism, data manipulation, unethical experiments), the editorial board will investigate promptly. Depending on the severity, actions may include:

  • Rejection of the manuscript

  • Retraction of published articles

  • Reporting to the authors’ institutions or funding bodies
